No. HQ-C11017/2/2025-C-1:- The Staff Selection Commission will hold an Open Competitive Computer Based Examination for direct recruitment to Group ‘B’ Non Gazetted posts of Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translation Officer, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator, Senior Translator and Sub-Inspector (Hindi Translator) for various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations of the Government of India.

Qualification:

• Post Graduation Degree in Hindi OR English with English OR Hindi as a Compulsory Subjects OR Post Graduation Degree in Any Subject with English Medium and Hindi as a Compulsory Subject in Degree Level And Recognized Diploma OR Certificate Course in Translation from Hindi to English Vice Verca or 2 Year Experience

Vacancy Details:

• Junior Translation Officer(JTO) in Central Secretariat Official Language Service (CSOLS)
• Junior Translation Officer(JTO) in Armed Forces Headquarters (AFHQ)
• Junior Hindi Translator (JHT)/ Junior Translation Officer(JTO)/Junior Translator (JT) in various Central Government Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations
• Senior Hindi Translator (SHT)/Senior Translator (ST) in various Central Government Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations
• Sub-Inspector (Hindi Translator) in Central Reserve Police Force

Age Limit:

• Age Calculate on 26 June 2025
• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 30 Years

For the post of Sub-Inspector (Hindi Translator) in CRPF: The crucial date for determining the age-limit shall be the closing date for the receipt of application from candidates . The age limit for the post is 18-30 years as on closing date of receipt of online application, i.e., candidates born not before 25-06-1995 and not later than 26-06-2007.
(b) For all other posts: The crucial date for age reckoning is fixed as 01-08-2025 in accordance with the provisions of DoP&T OM No. 140l7/70/87-Estt.(RR) dated 14-07-1988. The age limits for other posts are: 18 to 30 years as on 01-08-2025, i.e., candidates born not before 02-08-1995 and not later than 01-08-2007 are eligible to apply.
