3. Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

  • Applicants must be Indian citizens

Age Limit (as on closing date, 23 September 2025)

  • General/EWS: 18–25 years
  • OBC: 18–28 years
  • SC/ST: 18–30 years
  • Departmental (LDCE): UR/EWS up to 40, OBC up to 43, SC/ST up to 45 years
  • Relaxations apply for Ex-Servicemen, widows, etc.

Educational Qualifications

  • Both RO & RM:
    • Option 1: Class 12 (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) as core subjects, with at least 60% aggregate.
    • Option 2: Class 10 pass plus 2-year ITI certificate in approved trades such as Radio & Television, Electronics, Computer Operator & Programming Assistant (COPA), Mechatronics, Network Technician, Communication Equipment Maintenance, etc.

4. Physical Standards & Tests

Applicants must meet minimum standards in the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

The recruitment process comprises several stages:

  • Selected candidates will be placed in Pay Level-4 of the 7th CPC pay matrix (₹25,500 – ₹81,100), along with applicable allowances.
