Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL), a Maharatna PSU under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, has released the official notification for the recruitment of Apprentices in various trades/disciplines across its regions and establishments. This apprenticeship program provides fresh graduates, diploma holders, and ITI candidates with an excellent opportunity to gain practical training and industry exposure in India’s leading power transmission company.

Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria
Depending on the discipline, candidates must possess:
- Graduate Apprentices: Full-time B.E./B.Tech in relevant discipline (Electrical, Civil, Electronics, Computer Science, etc.)
- Diploma Apprentices: Full-time Diploma in relevant engineering discipline
- ITI Apprentices: ITI pass in relevant trade from a recognized institute
- Other Apprentices: Graduate in HR, Finance, Law, or other specified streams (as per notification)
Stipend (Monthly)
- Graduate Apprentice: ₹17,500/-
- Diploma Apprentice: ₹12,000/-
- ITI Apprentice: ₹11,000/-
(As per Apprenticeship Act & PGCIL rules)
Selection Process
- Selection will be based on merit list prepared from academic qualification marks.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.
- Final selection will be confirmed after successful verification of documents and eligibility.
