🎓 Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit (as on 1 July 2025):
  • Minimum: 21 years
  • Maximum: 40 years
  • (Born between 2 July 1985 and 1 July 2004)

• Educational Qualifications:
  • Graduation with relevant subject
  • B.Ed. degree (Bachelor of Education) or equivalent recognized training certificate
  • UPTET qualification is required
• Nationality:
  • Indian citizen, or
  • Subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or
  • Tibetan refugee (came over to India before 1 Jan 1962, intending permanent settlement)

🧾 Application Process & Fee

• Candidates must complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) on the UPPSC/OFFICIAL portal prior to applying.
• Upload documents (photo, signature, educational certificates), fill in details, and pay the fee online only via Debit/Credit card, Net‑Banking, UPI, Mobile Wallet, etc.
• Application Fees:
  • General / OBC / EWS: ₹125
  • SC / ST: ₹65
  • PH (Person with Disability): ₹25

🧪 Selection Process & Exam Pattern

• Selection Stages:
  1. Preliminary Screening Exam (objective‑type MCQ test)
  2. Main Written Examination
  3. Document Verification for shortlisted candidates.
• Written Exam Format:
  • Total Questions: 150 (150 marks)
  • Sections: General Studies (30 Q), Subject-specific (120 Q)
  • Duration: 2 hours
  • Marking: +1 mark for correct answer; –0.33 marks for each wrong answer.

• Pay Scale: ₹9,300 – ₹34,800
• Grade Pay: ₹4,800
• Plus Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), pension benefits, etc.

  • Teaching classes 6‑10 in government inter colleges (GICs/GGICs) in your subject specialisation
  • Preparing lessons, assessments, maintaining records, participating in co-curricular events, parent‑teacher meetings, and school administration duties.
