• The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the detailed notification on July 29, 2025, for recruitment to 230 posts in the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO)

• Educational Qualification:

  • APFC: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university .
• Age Limits:
  • EO/AO: Upper age limit generally 30 years for UR/EWS, relaxable: OBC (33), SC/ST (35), PwBD (40).
  • APFC: UR/EWS/OBC max 35 yrs, SC (40 yrs), PwBD (45 yrs) under relaxation.

1. Written Recruitment Test (objective-type)
2. Interview / Personality Test
   (Merit list combined across both stages).

• Negative marking: 1/3 mark deduction per incorrect answer (based on past norms).
• The exam is expected to be conducted in November 2025 (possibly on Nov 30), though candidates should await the official date announcement.

💰 Pay Scale & Job Profile

• EO/AO posts: Pay Level 8 in Pay Matrix (₹47,600–1,51,100) under 7th CPC.
• APFC posts: Pay Level 10 (₹56,100–1,77,500) and roles include enforcement, accounts, administration, and pension regulation duties.
