Eligibility Criteria

| Educational Qualification |
Master’s degree (or equivalent) from a UGC-recognized university in the concerned subject. Final year postgraduate students awaiting result may also apply under certain conditions. |
| Minimum marks |
– For General / EWS: 55% in Master’s degree. – For Reserved categories (SC / ST / BC / PwBD etc): 50% marks. |
| Relaxation for older PhD / master’s degree date |
5% relaxation if master’s degree was completed on or before 19 September 1991 (for PhD holders) in some cases. |

Minimum age requirement is 21 years. No upper age limit. |

Validity of Certificate
- Once the candidate clears JET, the eligibility certificate will have lifetime validity for both Assistant Professor roles and Ph.D admissions in Jharkhand.

- Choose the exam city carefully; changes later may not be allowed.
- Only one application per candidate is permitted; submitting multiple could lead to disqualification.
